OMG!
after 11 weeks leo is finaly coming home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im so excited!!!!!!!!!!
a bit nervous though, coz he is my first cat!!!!!!!!!!!
but im sooo excited it takes over all my nerves!

anyone have any settling in tips for me?
or any tips on looking after birmans?
i will post pics as soon as i get him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Leo too!

Ingrid, I see you wanted some advice on settling Leo in. I think its best if you could have him in just one room to begin with as the whole house will feel quite intimidating. Keep the atmosphere nice and calm and stoke him gently and give him gentle reassurance. He'll soon settle in quickly.

Luckily for me my mother in law had my two boisterous children for the first 3 days when I brought Leo and Susie home so they could at least have a good sniff around without being constantly picked up, cuddled and "molested" in the nicest term by being "too loved" my the children.

Leo has been getting used to the house and has gotten to like me quite quickly. He's very naughty trying to knock coffee tables over and run around like a maniac.
