Nah, cats and certain parents don't mix.

This pair, I am sure, will find a home very very quickly.

Re: Cats n children don't mix, why?

I was brought up with cats, my children were brought up with cats - NEVER did any of us chase the cats - my parents and I wouldn't have allowed it! Stupid people - if they can't stop their toddlers chasing the cats how the hell are they going to stop them going out getting drunk, having under age sex or taking drugs??? And tarring all families with one brush - just because one family was rubbish doesn't mean these cats can't ever live with children younger or older. Grrr this makes my blood boil!

But they are both beautiful cats.

I think given the situation, and that there will be plenty of homes without children, that the rescues can find a quiet home to relax in their fairly old age.

9 years old?? poor sods no reason to give up a cat because of a baby, have sold to people with kids and all of them have taught their kids how to handle the kittens and they have grown up together, teaching the kids alot aswell, no idea why you would get rid of 9 year old babies

Re: Cats n children don't mix, why?

Totally agree - bad parenting, but outcome still equals "lets get rid of the cats". Sadly this is the reason why I had rescues turning me away - because apparently all young children can't be trusted with kittens.

(thank Goodness for the CP actually thinking for themselves on that one!)

I am sure they will go to a new loving home soon though - they are lovely
