,, As you know the boys are 6 months old and my vet said to bring them in today to get them neutured,they have seen the boys about 3 times since i have had them,any way i took them down and dropped them off, got to ring back about 2 to see how they are, well the vets just rang to say that actually DAZZLE the lilac one is FEMALE !!!!!, im in shock, they said im lucky i got them done now as Coco could of got his sister pregnant, the breeder said they were boys, and they have been to vets so i have never checked their bits before,,, has this ever happened to any of you,

I wish I couldn't know if Spencer was a boy or a girl but he loves sticking his bum in your face and there's no mistaking he's got a set of balls - or did have until he got neutered

Good job you're getting them done then Although Spencer was 5 months when he was done and Skye has only just been done last week at nearly 7 months old, so totally round the wrong way

Yes, but it was the other way around. We thought pinkie was a female but when we got her to the vet it turned out she was a tom. Again,anther case of long fur at the back end.

When I got Abby and Rebel I was told they were brother and sister. After a couple of visits to the vet they told me Rebel was a girl so now I had two sisters lol. We didn`t change Rebels name as we agreed it was still okay for a girl

However, with long-haired fluffy cats, it can happen. You take the breeders word for it and you expect vets to clock these things on the first 'inspection'!!! I just hope there isin't a family somewhere finding out that the girl 'they' had bought is actually a boy!!!!
