Re: Coats!
Phew - glad I don't have this problem with tuxedo cats - urm, colour = black and white = sorted!
![]() I agree with other though - where are the photos so drooling over gorgeous cats...I mean, (ahem) serious advice can be given. |

Re: Coats!
Willow looks like a black silver mackerel tabby. Can't tell on the others as there ARE STILL NO PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!
EIT: just been through your other post - Rowan looks like a black smoke bicolour (he can't be termed silver as he's not tabby, the silver is expressed in the smoke) and Holly looks like a brown classic tabby with white

Re: Coats!
Just spotted this and Spid beat me to my reply.
Willow is definitely a black silver mackerel tabby and Holly is definitely brown tabby with white. I honestly wasn't sure about Rowan I thought he was just a bi colour. As they grow there true coat colours will be more obvious.I'm not so sure Jaffe is just a silver classic tabby he only has tabby markings on his legs, face and very faintly down his sides. The rest of him is quite slodgy and he also has beige bits coming up on his muzzle and brown bits coming up in his ruff and around his feet. ![]() |

Re: Coats!
have you got any pictures of his sides? Sounds like he might be a 'badly' marked classic tabby, and possibly a brown silver tabby.
I think Rowan is a smoke because if you look where his fur parts the bottom section of his fur is white - that's the silver being expressed and as he's not a tabby it's called smoke.

Re: Coats!
Well you asked for it - here are some photos
![]() Rowan first as he is causing the most debate (typical male )On his head, and his collar in certain lights, he seems to have some brown mixed in there too ![]() ![]() Showing the white underneath ![]() ![]() And the two girls doing what they do best ![]() Willow ![]() Holly ![]() Hope that helps |

Re: Coats!
Yay more pics! Girls are definitely as stated. Rowan also has slight tabby brown marking showing on his head, smudge of black thrown in but has white underneath which would indicate smoke
confused: I would say tortie tabby with high white possibly? Saying that though it's very unusual for a boy to be a tortie tabby so am likely to be completely wrong!Last edited by Mummy of Jaffe Joffer; 02-11-2011 at 05:37 PM.. Reason: Second thought |
