Thumbs up Wayyyyyyhayyyyyy!!!!!!

Yesterday, the remaining OKO Plus left the building and both litter trays now contain only Cats Best Natures Gold.

30 hours later, all my carpets and floors are still pristine!!!!!!

Any pellets that land on the bathroom floor are easily picked up and chucked back in the tray.

Three cats have got no problem with the new litter but I'm not sure about Merson - I found a small wet patch in the bathroom this morning. It didn't look or smell like wee but I don't know what else it could have been. I will be keeping an eye on him. He'd better get to like it though because I ain't changing it now!!!! 75% of the user population like it so it's a majority win!!

Yes, it is. Well, according to Zooplus anyway.

Cat's Best Nature Gold: Great Deals on Cat's Best Cat litter at zooplus

Some of the wee clumps can be a bit big (thanks Oscar!!!! ) but I just break them up before flushing and they go just fine. I then do an 'empty' flush afterwards just to ensure that all 'stuff' has gone ok.

Re: Wayyyyyyhayyyyyy!!!!!!

that sounds good, we currently use the okoplus (and have just ordered 20L of the stuff) but might try this next time. We did find a lot of the okoplus ended up being kicked out of the tray so hard to know if this was the litter or Merlot just being a little kicker! We have just got one of those litter boxes with a cover and flap to try so fingers crossed.

Let us know if the Nature Gold lasts longer than oko plus though

Re: Wayyyyyyhayyyyyy!!!!!!

I switch between the two depending on deals - but find the cats best slightly better for tracking - but then I never had too many issues with the Oko plus - I mean cats best is just an ungraded oko plus isn't it? It lasts about the same amount of time.

Mine went on tray strike when I tryed to use this, I got sick of cleaning the bath and floor in the bathroom and went back to Tiggero. I wanted to use cats best as it's none dust and I have asthma and I liked it more that any other i've tryed.
I still have a bag of it sitting in the spare room what a waste of money that was, my cats have no class!!!!

This is Cats Best Natures Gold which is a very different texture to OKO Plus. Natures Gold is similar to wood pellets whereas the OKO is more like a chunky sawdust.

Being pellets they are less inclined to stick to the cat but they are SOOOOOOO much easier to kick out of the tray when having a damn good attempt to dig to Australia!!!!!!
