Re: Update on introducing the kittens to the resident cat.

This sounds like good progress. I have had my kitten Whisper for 2 weeks now and progress here is very very slow. I have 2 other cats for her to get used to. Polly will be ok I think but Beanie is not at all happy. He has been growling and hissing whenever he sees her. I thought we were making progress 2 days ago when he came face to face with her and didn't growl or hiss but then yesterday he growled and hissed again. 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Its stressful isn't it! I hope you carry on progressing well

Re: Update on introducing the kittens to the resident cat.

I have been going through this as well, only for 3 days though. We have a beautiful cat, kenny, and a few days ago, we were "adopted" by a stray who has now joined the family (I felt I had no real option but to keep him, I am not overjoyed about the situation though)

The stray kitten wants to be friends and play but our cat is moody, sad, withdrawn etc, wont talk and chat to me, just wants his own space and actually seems a bit intimidated by the kitten who is 12 months old and not neutered (wuill get him done as soon as his tummy settles)

I feel very very guilty and upset that I have made my lovely, loving cat fel pushed out...I can't even really enjoy having the new cat, Lucky, as I feel so bad on Kenny..

Sigh. I am glad things are improving slightly for you xxx
