Two of our MCs have a clear preference: Monty is most definitely my baby, whilst Larry and the OH are thick as thieves. We have heard that it is a characteristic of the MC that they attach themselves strongly to one member of the family, and that seems to be the case with Larry and Monty.

So we've been wondering which one of us little Herbie (4 and a half months) will attach himself to.... not that it's a competition or anything! Well, Herb is such a little ray of sunshine, he cuddles up with any one of us very happily. He seems to have no favourites at all, so that works out very well and no-one has to feel jealous.

They prefer me and I love it My OH gets very upset about the whole situation and has even claimed that Freckle doesn't like him in the past.

I told him that they prefer me because they are 'mummies boys' and that if we were to get girl kittens they could be 'daddies girls' Everytime he moans I remind him that we could get some girl Ocicats and a few months ago he started to agree Won't be for a while but I think this is clearly an excellent outcome

Like children I think mostly they prefer their Mom, in my experience anyway. But I get lots of cuddles as well so I'm not complaining
