Unhappy Seb has a bad tummy

Seb has had a runny bottom today he's been just the once. I tried him with some Hi-Life last night and he had some again this morning, so think it could be that. I've been giving him different food gradually and think this has disagreed with him .

He is fine in himself, doing the usual running around and playing.

I have some chicken breasts that I am going to boil up, do I just feed little and often as I normally would?

Thanks

Sarah

Re: Seb has a bad tummy

OH NO! Poor little Seb. Boiled chicken and rice little and as often as he is hungry. Hopefully that will help his tummy settle. I hope his runny bum clears up soon xx

PS I liked because he is still acting normal not because he has an upset tummy.

Re: Seb has a bad tummy

Aww poor Seb, hope he's feeling better already!

Oscar had (and still has, if he manages to get hold of any of Harry's Gourmet Perle) a bit of diarrhoea when we first got him - he can't tolerate quite a few wet food brands. Hi Life we've never had a problem with but they are all different. Looking at our HiLife - it contains tapioca which is a starch (carbohydrate) though non-cereal apparently. Maybe it's that for Seb - or maybe he's just adjusting to a new food?

Thanks for the advice - It's Hi-Life Classic Gold tuna, just had a look at the ingredients, it's got tapioca in it, the Butchers Classic's doesn't and he's been fine with that. It could well be that, won't give it to him anymore and I'll check the labels and avoid from now on.

If he's still got it tomorrow I'll be taking him to the vet.

He's had a little boiled chicken and rice and now having a nap

Re: Seb has a bad tummy

Hope he's feeling better, give him a hug from us.

I think I need to take a look at this Butcher's Classic - which supermarkets sell it, do you know?

Seb sends hugs back x

I found it in Tesco, Moggybaby posted on a thread that she gives it to her cats, so thought I'd try it. I think she said they stock it in Wilkos, Asda and Morrisons. Only tried the boys with the meat not the fish yet. They enjoy it

My ZooPlus delivery should be here tomorrow/Tuesday, I've ordered Bozita, Animonda Carny, Smilla and Orijen.

Will keep Seb on boiled chicken for a couple days and see how he goes. But if he's no better tomorrow off to the vets we go.
