Ethel and Albus will become famous soon enough
Exclamation Stitches

Guys

Ethel was spade just over a week ago.

Just seen a White piece of stitch coming from her shaven bit

It's about 1cm long and it has blood on it

Her and albus do fight a lot so I think it's come out somehow

Is this a vets appointment tomorrow morning?

Or will it just heal?

Re: Stitches

It is just a stitch which has come untied....but after a full week the wound will be pretty well healed any way so it is not an emergency. I presume you have an appointment scheduled for this week to get her checked at the vet and get stitches pulled out anyway?

Re: Stitches

She went last Monday for the check up

But no one told me the stitches will need to come out
Thought they were the disappearing type?

She seems fine just very odd to see this piece hanging out of her this morning.

Just worried, I'll call the vet when they open at 8.30 tomorrow

I'm out all day till 3 so she and alb is left alone = me worrying!

Re: Stitches

I really would not worry too much....if the stitches were internal then this one just seems to have worked it's way out, the body does that sometimes. But the wound will already be healed. Call the vets by all means and I am sure they will just ask you to pop her in so they can pull that stitch out.

I wish

They pine if they are not together. I think it would stress her out.

They eat sleep and go on the litter tray together
