hello again no i dont have a fettish for poo !!! new to owning cats, i have had dogs and horses in the past anyway.. was wondering about the self cleaning cat covered litter trays are they good or not ?

i was thinking this too...you must have read my mind ( another new kitty owner)

i have not got my kitten yet hopfully it will be in the new year, i am tryin to get as much knowledge together so when i time comes i can go and buy lots of things and i will have an idea what works and doesnt

got one funnily enough myself a couple of weeks ago to try xx is great if solid but seriously bad if not LOL xx not very big areas to pee in though so not too suitable for larger cats xx

i would not get one. i liked to be able to clean the trays myself to ensure they are properly cleaned and disinfected.

I had the one where you tip it to one side and the clean litter falls through and the lumps stay in the special section so you can empty it. I really liked it but again, wasn't great when they had diarrhoea and trying to clean out the grills wasn't great!

I am now using the Sweet Pea dry system litter box, and finding it really good! But finding new sweet pads to buy is pretty hard as it no longer looks like they are making them any more (got mine from the garden center on sale for £5). But have found news paper works well as a substitute pad, and have just been given a load of hospital pads to use!

i have one and found it really good when i was using it before changing to litter kwitter x

is there a way to stop cats walking the litter tray stuff everywhere??

when i come home/get up in the morning there is litter powder everywhere...

any tips?
