so which litter is best i have seen those that are compacted wood shaving and they absord the wet.....which are the soft ones !!!

I think that provided your cat or kitten is happy with the litter you choose and is using it, it almost doesn't matter which one you use. We use World's Best, because not only do the cats like it, it is readily available here and it is kind to your bare tootsies. We used to use Yesterdays News, but that was hell on the bare feet, if you staggered out of bed for a for a pee in the night!
