Found - Tiny Kitten
First post in the cat section! Also posted in lost and found.

I have just found a tiny black and white kitten in the field adjoining mine. I first thought he must be feral as he bit me to death when I picked him up, but he's very friendly though scared, so is obviously used to people. He's very wormy looking, thin and dirty but also very sweet looking. I'm going to give him a wormer and some food and make some posters to see if he's missing from someones home. However, we live in the middle of nowhere so I find it hard to believe a kitten of about 8wks old has made it out here alone. If we can't find his owner, I guess he'll just have to join my bunch of 4 cats!

Poor baby I hope you can find where he came from. Was there any sign of others or a mum anywhere near where you found him?

Good on you for taking him, worming him and looking for his owners. If you don't find anyone it sounds like he'll have a wonderful rural paradise home wih you.

I had the same thought as lymorelynn. How far are the nearest houses to you to ask around, someone else might know.

Don't worry, he's segregated for the time being. My nearest neighbour has 2 elderly spayed females and she herself has been in hospital for over a month so I know she hasn't got a new one. Def no sign of any others or a mum but I will go and check again in the morning when it's light. I'll upload a pic in a sec
