Jay is very nice and gentle, if a bit dim and always doing silly things like rolling over on the top of the cat tree and falling off, or falling asleep sitting up and nearly falling over.

Diz is a little terror, she loves the top of the wardrobes and is the scruffiest cat in the world. You can brush her (which she hates) until shes lovely and neat. Put the brush back and go back to her and she looks like she has been dragged through a hedge backwards!.

If you are not able to offer help, then, perhaps it is time to say bye bye to one of them! You dont want them to keep fighting all the time

No, I could never give one of them away. That would be like giving one of your children away because they fought with each other.

bit extreme don't you think?? we can't seperate them (and wouldn't anyway!) they cry if they're seperated, it's just Diz has a touch of short person syndrome and Jay's realised he's bigger than her - they do manage to play nice most of the time

They tend to break it up when they hear one of us go looking for the source of the yowling lol

I have 2 like that and I just give them a quick squirt with the spray bottle and they both flee in opposite directions!!!

I think unfortunately, cats fighting is a fact of life. As long as it doesn't turn serious ie breaking skin etc, I would just keep an eye on them and intervene where necessary.

One of my coonies has been stalking my neuter moggie all morning and I have to keep going out to them to break it up and give her a rest!
