Online Shopping- Wormers.co.uk

This company use several online internet shopping including 'wormers co.uk'. Despite their charges being low, the service is poor. We used this company for the first time, placed an order, thankfully for no more than £10 however the communications via emails and phone calls were worth more the hassle and stress since we never received our order.

We requested a refund after 7 days, having been told it was sent first class one day after the order was received, instructions were ignored and no apology, the response was to pass the blame onto Royal Mail, 'who let us down'.

Refunds are apparently not in the 'agreement' and we were told they resent the order tracked. Avoid this company at all costs, cheaper is not always the best.

I ended the conversation and said that we would not be using them again and we would submit a review. Then I receive an email to say they were trying to resolve the matter and would gladly refund the money!

FGS companies like this are complete time wasters and you wonder why are they having to operate under different website names???

Unfortunately there are too many companies like this. Why is it a threat is the only way to deal with such companies

just so glad we didn't spend any more, is a nightmare and as a rule now, sticking to smaller fish in the sea even if you pay a little bit extra, at least there's no faulting the customer care including courtesy.

I did what I said I would and put reviews on two major websites. I did a search on the umbrella name and there were at least 4 associated online shops associated to them

Perhaps you could ask them how they can be the only company in existence not subject to Distance selling Regulations. I'm sure there are lots of mail order companies would love to know how they too could exempt themselves from the law.

It's such a shame when I see posts like this, it puts all online companies under a bad light!
When I am out of stock or what ever reason the there is a delay in posting to my customers I always email or phone them to as if they still wish to carry on with the order, in case they wanted the item for a birthday etc and I advise them when it has been sent etc. I am only small company but surely all online companies must realise good customer service is the key to a successful business!
I hope this has not put you off ordering online, there are some good companies out there!

certainly not and it's inspiring as well as re-assuring to know there are companies as like yourselves that do exist, small is by far deserving of the recognition and greatness when it comes to good old fashion customer care, thumbs up. I'm in my 40's however, when I worked in the bank, we were told, the 'customer is always right' in a training course about delivery of high level of customer care at all times, now of course we all know that is not always the case, however is about is having a good attitude and approach 'as if' it was always the case, even with the most awkward ones.

Is sad when small becomes too big for the sake of competition then the vision gets lost in the corporate and common courtesy, customer care gets washed down the pan. Just like supermarkets, we now source from local, small suppliers where you can build up rapport and it's quality as opposed to quantity all the way...

Oh a good note, we alternate between ZP and PP (Pet Planet) - I must say they are pretty good at rectifying any problems, where that's my experience and recently with an order where they sent some almost sell by date stuff. They refunded for the products in questions and supervisor emailed me with an apology, also said in future, she would personally check when I ordered the product next. I followed up with an order and sent her an email to ask that everything was checked for sell by dates. Order came and all was well however what I didn't realise was that she was away when I sent her the email, yet today I got an email from her to say she had been away and she asked whether my order was okay. This put a smile on my face, just makes all the difference when someone can be bothered to go the extra mile when they didn't have to. Anyway I sent her an email back to say I appreciated her taking the time to follow up
