Question pesty cats

We have a very old and much loved cat who is bothered by pesty cats coming in the garden and causing fights. Does anyone know how to deter these other cats please? Have thought about buying a sonic repeller and attaching it to the fence where the cats enter; our cat is deaf (I guess wouldn't hear the sound they emit) but do deaf cats hear some sounds? It wouldn't be any good if she can't enjoy the garden.

Re: pesty cats

I would have someone fence it off, - someone that knows what their doing-.

Your cat is Old and deaf, and needs a bit of peace and quiet. I know it could be costly but I think its the only way. Or keep kitty indoors.
