day or night time cat's? mine tend to come alive at night, which isn't fun when your trying to sleep and they are climbing all over you and sticking their fur in your face

our cats have cat naps then go on mat ones we dont have the cats in our room now as they can get in the lil ones cot so not safe but when she is older they will have free ranger again

Yeah mine have access to all the rooms except the kitchen and my daughter's room

We are on day 3 of letting the kittens sleep where they like and I have noticed that they are sooooo nocturnal! They go crazy running up and down the stairs, jumping off beds and this morning my living room looked like it had been stirred with a stick, magazines over the floor, ironing basket knocked over, paperwork over the floor lol! They looked up at me with faces that said "It wasn't me ".

They spend most of the daytime just snoozing with a few sporadic mad 1/2 hours.

Molly used to be a night cat, as soon as we settled down she would want to play!


Now she seems to have her mad 5 minutes early evening, and enjoys going to bed with us I just think the older she get's the lazier she get's !

Mine have periods of both - they sleep a good few hours of an afternoon (they've just settled down for thier daily naps) - and then we'll have a mix of kittens on krack half hours combined with general I'm awake and wandering/playing/resting until about 3am then sleep again until 7am and then the mix again til afternoon nap time.

They have been good the past few days though - they've been locked out of the bedroom at night as I've been sick - and they haven't made lots of noise until I've gone out to them at 10/11am (hubby has been doing the morning feed).

My bunch are restricted to downstairs during the night. I don't know if they play much but whenever I come downstairs they are always sound asleep.

They are always awake by 6.30am though, ready for their breakfast!!

Rosie is an early morning cat whereas Mai Tai will sleep most of the time day or night. At the moment they sleep in the kitchen with the kittens at night but I hear the small ones running around at about 6 am

Oscar comes alive as we go to bed he drags his fave toy upstairs for us to play with him and ofcourse we do then hes wide awake around 530 and wants to play again, he does the Simons cat to me till i get up lol
