I read the cat posts every day, several times a day........... will someone please tell my husband I am not the only neurotic cat lover around......

If my cat goes out for longer than 30 mins................ it's S.A.S search party..........
If they don't eat I am still awake at 3 in the morning watching them, tempting them with the Sundays roast.
If they ignor me they MUST be ill.
If the house is chilly the central heating is on FULL blast incase they get a cold....( even in mid August ).........
If they catch a mouse it HAS to be a rotten mouse and cause illness.
Every post man has to be threatend not to drive fast up my drive... if he does I WILL kill him.
The aga has to be on just because it's the cats favorite place to sleep.
NO visitors can not stay, the spare bedrooms are for the cats..
The dogs are to blame every time for spilling cat litter over the carpet.
The cat bowls are not deep enough which is why they get food all over the work tops.
Yes they are allowed in the fridge when ever they want.
You must sit on the sofa to warm up the seat pads then move when cat comes in.
Every spare minute must be devoted to cat and every toy must be played with.
If cat gets hair over clothes it is your fault for buying dark coloured clothes.
No cat poo does not smell.
If cat is sleeping on the bonnet of your car, do not wake her up, wait until she wakes.
If cat jumps on your head while you are sleeping, just ignor her, she is only playing.

and so on...................... now I know you all agree with me.............

we aren't neurotic, am sure everything you have listed is normal isn't it??


I bet secretly your husband agrees with it all, I know my OH does

pretty much ..apart from central heating bit! they have fur coats....(ok, igloo beds too )

i mean i've posted 2 threads about the same sore eye in a week - both after seeing a vet!!!!!

i always talk to my cats and they meaow back at me and people must think im mad lol but i dont care as they are my baby i also dont go to be untill i know where they are think they are preparing me for when the kids are older lol

lol, I am so awful that if I can't find 1 I start to panic , with mine being black though, they tend to sit on the boot cover which is also black...
