The purpose of a cat is to drive their slaves mad...

Some of you may remember a post of mine a few weeks ago about my cat Arthur who had decided to go completely against his daily routine and disappear for hours...

This happened for a couple of days on the trot and then he went back to his routine...drove me mad thinking he had gone missing.

Well...now its apparently Megan's turn!

Normally she'd be asleep in the house or garden, however she is nowhere to be seen and she hasn't emerged despite a sweep of the estate shaking the goody drops.

I got next door to check their garage as she has got stuck in one before, however still no sign.

Not too worried yet as its only been a few hours since I last saw her and I know by giving them 'free choice' of indoor / outdoor, I am asking for a scare or two but still!

Yep, cat slave is definately paranoid!

Megan has just waltzed in and looked very bemused at why she suddenly found herself picked up and cuddled.

Re: The purpose of a cat is to drive their slaves mad...

Good to read that she is back!!!!

Merson is the only one here who gets free roaming (well Oscar does too if he could be bothered..... ) and I usually see him within 2 hours of going out. I can cope with the up to 2.5hrs that I get sometimes. After that, I am a neurotic mess until he wanders in with that look of "What???????" on his face as I am going loopy over him.

I'm sure he does it on purpose...............

Re: The purpose of a cat is to drive their slaves mad...

Oh I'm sure it's deliberate Mine don't go out but they can have me in a state of panic just hiding somewhere in the house I run around like a loony thinking: could they have sneaked out while I wasn't looking, is there a window open that they can escape from, have they vanished under a gap somewhere that I don't know about ...... no, they are usually under a duvet or have sneaked into my wardrobe and are under a pile of clothes
Naughty kitties

Re: The purpose of a cat is to drive their slaves mad...

Well, it would seem that Merson was doing his mind-reading trick again and sensed my post above as he went out at ten to four and has just come back in at twenty to seven.

Cue one slave who is now in desperate need of a stiff drink......................
broccoli and notsure like this.

Lol its good to hear I'm not the only one.

The neighbours must think I'm mad..."er can you check your garage please?"..."of course, how long has the poor thing been missing for?"..."two hours..."
