same here - i've given food and rejected bed to a local rescue, donated stuff for their auction & am helping on at least one fundraising stall - all at a safe distance from the cats......

I've expressed my admiration for you before EAC, for your ability to be able to do this. I've got tears in my eyes just looking at their pictures. I would never be able to go home at night without crying my eyes out............

You are a better person than me, I really don't think I would have the strength to see them in their little pens waiting for a forever home

Well done to you for having the courage to look after them, you're doing a fantastic job

It is sad but I have to support the local charity that are snowed under and the poor cats that need love. I feel so sad for them. Meanwhile ..Archie is asleep across the couch. Ella is up in bed with my partner and Cleo is laid out on the spare bed. Some cats don't know they are born!

She is indeed a dilute tortie, like my Xena.


Don't think she is a BSH, but she may well be a BSH cross. Some breeders will sell unwanted crossbreeds resulting from 'accidents' through pet shops.

Cleo has a lovely face, it looks a bit like my little wildcat Tosca, they both have a butterfly-shaped patch on their noses.

Aww Love Xena and Tosca.

I love Cleo's markings. The RSPCA in Essex is advertising two cats that look so much like her.

Felt really sad about all the cats today. The thing is if I took more there would be more cats to feel sorry about and that is what I have to tell myself.

At least I have Cleo to give love to and show her the love Ella and Archie have been smothered with. The longer we have her the more we realise the issues she has and how she must have been really mistreated before. I will smother her with love and I hope all the others in the rescues get to experience that love at some point
