Re: Fussy Eaters Anyone?...

My kitten is very fussy these days. Our local supermarket only stocks Felix, Whiskers, Kitekat or their own brand, and I've normally found that Felix is the most popular with my puddies (and cheaper than whiskers). However, I think I've spoiled him with roast chicken, fresh chicken, beef etc (depending on what I'm cooking for dinner) and now he turns his little (cute) nose up at cat food and just climbs up my leg and sits on my shoulder when he thinks I'm cooking much more interesting food!

I'm hoping he'll grow out of it!

Re: Fussy Eaters Anyone?...

Our cat only eats the Purina Chicken biscuits for adult cats! It makes her fur silky though! For a treat we give her Gourmet Fish or a Whiska's or Felix pouch. xx

What Oscar likes one day he turns his nose up at the next! I honestly dispair as to what to buy him He was always a fussy eater and even more now since his accident! I waste loads of catfood a week and freshly cooked chicken i make him, he is the worlds worst!!!!!

I suspect parents with fussy toddlers have it easier than a lot of kitty parents!

Re: Fussy Eaters Anyone?...

If you can get hold of it (and if you will be able to do so regularly), try Tesco's beef pouches.

It also makes a difference whether it's meat in jelly, meat in gravy, or Whiskas "supermeat" (a misleading name if ever I saw one! But some cats may love it)

Re: Fussy Eaters Anyone?...

My cat is like my dogs...who in turn are like my kids....they get what i give them and like it, when they're hungry enough they really do eat it. absolutely no disrespect to anyone who worries and stresses and i really wish i could advise you in some other way but my lot started on biscuits and got used to them, sometimes it's hard work at first but nce they get used to it it has benefits for kitty s well as kitty mummy x

If your babes like felix why dont you order from Zooplus? Mine wont eat the stuff from this country but the stuff online is cut differently and must have a different taste, as mine will eat it.

How true is that!! At least when I had a toddler she at least looked liked she was listening to me

I've given up worrying about what Molly eat's , I spend a fortune on all brands so she has a choice if ever she wants it ....... not that she ever does!

My kitten turned up his nose at felix, whiskas. The breeder fed him on royal canine and applaws before he came to us both of those brands I never knew existed my old cat used to love felix and any fresh chicken or meat. I now feed my kitten on fresh chicken, beef, lambs, applaws tuna, hills complete science and royal kitten 32 dry food only I am lucky my kitten love food and eat anything.

If you are able perhaps introduce a little fresh chicken or meat in with their felix or whiskas.
