cats and feelings

do you think cats feel remorse or anything like that?
my cat "attacked" my face yesterday (not as bad as it sounds!) but managed to make me bleed shocked me so much that i was crying.

but after dealing with me, we realised he was hiding under the chair, almost like he had realised he'd done something wrong. then he wouldnt stop following me around

hes not a horrible cat i take full responsibility as i feel i moved too quickly towards him

Re: cats and feelings

I think it is unlikely that he felt remorse but was more aware of the waves of disapproval that would have been coming off you.

He would have sensed that you were upset with him and was most likely following you about to get back into your good favour again.

But that is only my opinion.

Re: cats and feelings

Of course they have feelings. Like other animals.

Every few years or more, I see an article that confirms something that vegetarians and vegans have known for years prior to the article or even decades prior to it (e.g. pigs are intelligent - know for decades by veggies and vegans, only in recent years confirmed by mainstream media; eating a diet of fruit and veg staves off cancer, recently confirmed in media; meat is poisonous; etc. etc.).

It's only a matter of time before all the other things that veggies and vegans know are confirmed. Mark my words.
