Can cats still be teething at 8 months?

I have noticed over the past few days my Furbies are both chewing their toys and are going through straws I give them with relish. Oscar is also cautiously trying to nibble my fingers, although he always stops before a bite and looks at me to see my reaction. Wilbur has been carrying his toys in his mouth like a dog and then taking them to a corner to nibble on.

I thought they had already grown all their teeth, but are cats like humans, in that they get some teeth a bit later than the rest?

Pass as to if they get some later on than the rest (I know dogs do so maybe!!) but they could still be teething from baby-adult. My kitten is just over 5 months and teething with relish on my gardening clogs!!!!

Re: Can cats still be teething at 8 months?

Actually I think they are just playing a new game. Just spent 10 minutes laughing as Wilbur took his toy in his mouth and started trying to get away from Oscar to hide it. Oscar obviously was wondering what was going on so follows Wilbur, who then ran off with it again in his mouth. He has now hidden it under a chair.

Not sure what Oscar is up to though - maybe he is trying to see what he can get away with?
