My new cat run arrived this morning, so why is it that the husband can always find something else to do when im desparate for something to be done.


I cant tell you what I used to bribe him....and failed!!!! am I losing my touch???

At least your husband is capable of doing these things. Mine isn't. I have been waiting a year, yes a whole year, for an electrician friend to install electricity to my cat pens, several times I have said it would be best if I got someone else in to do it but he keeps insisting that he has bought all the materials and will do it just as soon as (the weather dries up / his friend is available to help / he comes back from holiday etc etc etc). If it isn't done by the end of this month I don't know what I will do

Also I have been waiting months for my neighbour to fit a safety door to one of my cat runs. Admittedly there were three to do at the start of the year and he has done two, but the third is needed too. I pay him a better hourly rate than he earns in his job too! He keeps saying he needs to find wood but I can't seem to make him understand that I am happy to buy the wood, I just need the job doing
