Sorry but it's normal kitten behaviour and will last until your kitten is big enough to be able to jump/climb up on to the level she wants to be at.You could try clipping the sharp points of her claws, but be very careful not to clip any more than the tip or you could make them bleed and really hurt her.Does she have any cat tree's where she can get her self a bit higher kittens/cats like to be up of the ground. Small Cat Trees: Great deals now at zooplus I wouldnt want to go to high with a small kitten.

Re: problems with kitten can anyone help!!

Kittens & mild scratches go together I think

When we first got Oscar his paws were not big enough to be able to fully retract his claws so we had a few scratches too. Within a few weeks he resolved this issue though. It was never a behavioural problem, just a physical one.

When we took the kittens for their second vaccination I got the vet to supervise me when I clipped their claws to ensure I was not cutting too far up. As they are currently not going out, I clip their claws every few weeks. It helps them too as they are not getting their claws stuck in things, and I don't get punctured when Wilbur kneads me before falling asleep.
