the Saturday Telegraph magazine yesterday, had a article about the supreme cat show and some lovely cat pics.

I wasn't that impressed with the article. As an exhibitor, it would be nice to be portrayed as at least mildly sane for a change - even if its not true

Yeh the article wasn't very flattering, but the pics were good.

It's the same with any hobby though - I am sure people in the cat fancy look at other hobbies and think those people are nuts!

I don't each to their own is my motto in anything. What people do with their free time and their own hard earned cash is their business. Not that I propose to be able to speak for the entire cat fancy, but I am sure alot think the same, having been on the receiving end of articles and documentaries with the tired old "mad cat person" angle.

It would just make a real change for a journalist to be different for once and step away from that stereotypical view and show the fancy and its members in a modern, vibrant and positive light.
