Val remembers when her old owners got her - they live in the flat around the corner (council flats and each has an outdoor access of it's own not tower block) they got her and her b/w brother last November and they were allowed out straight away.
Vet said she needs to be healthier before she can be spayed and either way now indoor only - though waiting to find out if she's already pregnant at mo. She's now almost 2kg but still fairly frail and wobbly and has *no* muscle tone.
According to the previous owners she had kittens around June so he drowned them in the loo and dropped her off the balcony - witnesses saw him throw her over. Having checked her over both Vet and I agree it's unlikely she already had kittens due to age and the fact her downstairs looks 'unused' (my rescue girls both have definately had kittens and there is a definate difference between them and Tilly back there)
He kicked her brother out too and he died on the very near and very busy road - have seen many cats dead by the side but nowhere safe to stop to try help them
Val is hiding the fact she now has Tilly Mae and as she's not friends with prev owner and Tilly is now indoor only they are none the wiser.
Witnesses have also admitted to Val and the other lady that tried to feed Tilly that the previous owner has been approaching people with cars on the estate and trying to get them to run Tilly over as she kept trying to return to the flat and was crying at the door and 'doing his head in'
We have now got her on Porta 21 Grain Free dry food and semi decent wet, she's gaining weight rapidly and beginning to gain some muscle as she heals. Vet is keeping an eye on her and she'll be spayed as soon as poss.
Her hair is growing back (tail base was bald) and she's been wormed and flead and had the enormous poo-y matt removed from her bottom.
She is so very very friendly and adores attention and cuddles of anyone
Weird cat despises webbox treats and dreamies eek:
