Re: Cat shampoo

Can I come and be your kitten? He sounds like he eats better than me!

I use a foam shampoo, that you just foam up in your hands, if she gets really bad, I would never attempt to bath her myself

Re: Cat shampoo

we can see you are trying super hard which is why I posted a bit about the extra bits needed

you can buy calcium powder in reptile food/care and many pet shops to add to the food - it could help firm up the stools and prevent 'spreading', also maybe drop the veg a little (every other meal rather than every meal) again help make the poop fairly 'dry'

in our nutrition classes on my Ext National Diploma we were told a cat or dog on a properly balanced diet for them has 'kickable poo' basically dark, firm and low odour.

Personally I feed grain free dry, grain/sugar free wet and raw rabbit legs as a treat and to clean teath and although the litter tray isn't 'pleasant' I have one in my bedroom and only very rarely have a noticable odour

Gratz on being a good kitty momma

Thanks I'll read about calcium apart from fresh food i've mentioned my kitten is on Hills Science complete kitten food and Royal Canine 32 persian kitten which I am satisfied he is having enough for a healthy life style.

in our nutrition classes on my Ext National Diploma we were told a cat or dog on a properly balanced diet for them has 'kickable poo' basically dark, firm and low odour.

Yep his poo are always dark firm and low odour he'd only had soft poo twice in six month even then he went two times then back to normal and that's because I tried some milk when he was 13 weeks old I felt so stupid then recently I gave him Whiskas kitten milk that gave him soft poo again he only poo twice not all night and day now he is back to normal firm dark hard poo which he does all the times.

Personally I feed grain free dry, grain/sugar free wet and raw rabbit legs as a treat and to clean teath and although the litter tray isn't 'pleasant' I have one in my bedroom and only very rarely have a noticable odour

My kitten litter tray don't have bad smells unless you get very near which I have to do most of the times to see if there are any poos to clear. I keep watch on my klitten like a hawk his health is very important to me as we lost another kitten in July who had constant runs poor little mite the first breeder sold us a very sick kitten which I had to have put down July this year by the rspca

We lost two cats this year alone the first is my 20 years old beloved Persian Coco and then the poor little kitten we first bought now we have our Samson who is six months old he is everything to us without forgetting the other two beloved cats. I am afraid I watch every move Samson make lol.
