Have your outdoor cats come in from the cold?

I have Scamps company again, now it's got a little colder he's in most of the day and all night, now I don't have to persaude him to come in, it's great At present he is in a cubby hole in my sons wardrobe, we call it his portal and he loves it there So are yours in yet or still toughing it out?

Re: Have your outdoor cats come in from the cold?

I'm certainly seeing more of #1 cat, Bola, indoors, but more telling is the amount of time my semi adoptee, Stripey Tail, is now spending in the house. Up till a couple of weeks ago he'd been very much a eat and go cat, but now not only is he sleeping on both mine and the spare bed, he's gracing us with his presence in the living room, often spending hours curled up asleep either on the back of the sofa or a chair.

The young ones are still popping out for a couple of hours a day but definitely in more than out now. The oldies started staying in most of the time a couple of months ago. Sweet how they have their favourite places to curl up isn't it?

Shadow has never stayed out after 5.00pm when he come in for his meal. I dont think it has made too much difference so far as the days are still quite warm. With Puss Puss she has always been an outdoor cat having never lived in a home.

Scamps an oap but it's only the last couple of days he's been in more. Their favourite places tend to be our places to sit or the most awkward to get in to

If only Scamp was as disciplined as Shadow it would make me very happy Does Puss Puss have somewhere warm to sleep in winter?

Fav places? That doesn't really apply to #2 cat, Fudge, she picks a spot but it seldom last more than 5 or so days before she's off looking for somewhere else. I doubt there's anywhere in the house she hasn't slept in over the past 14+ years. It's a cardboard box on my bed atm, but I'll be amazed is she's still sleeping there come Wednesday.
