Talking do you sing to your kitty!

I have found that me and my flatmate sing to our cats, changing the songs to fit their names lol. Also advert music anything. Anyone else?

Re: do you sing to your kitty!

I do, I also make up my own words to songs and add their name in too

My Frankie doesn't like my bad singing but my Timmy (RIP ) used to love it when I sang to him, when I sang the 'Timmy Song' he would come running to me and look all dreamy eyed at me

I get a look from Frankie, then he dives out the catflap

Thinking about it now, most of the songs I make up my own words to don't really make much sense, it's fun though

lovedeternally will become famous soon enough
Re: do you sing to your kitty!

I don't have a cat at the moment (unfortunately) but both my Spaniel and my tortoise have to endure me singing to them. I just change the words to whatever I've just heard. For example there is a catchy advert on tv that uses 'ain't no mountain high enough'. As my tortoise table is next to where I sit when watching tv I often sit singing 'ain't no torty high enough' to myself without even realising it

galilea gets part of bohemian rhapsody (with minor alteration!) a lot
and 'soft kitty' from big bang theory is a regular torment too!

Re: do you sing to your kitty!

Ha ha ha I've been singing Soft Kitty as well.

Mind you, I start singing, Oscar looks at me with complete disdain and walks off....he's like the Simon Cowell of cats

Re: do you sing to your kitty!

yes I always sing to my cat loulou " you are my sunshine" and now I do to my kitten " how wonderful life is now your in my world" when I give her a cuddle and she nods off!!!! not sure if it's to shut out the noise or if she loves it... but she does purrr alot so I think she likes it.
