How much does it costs for a siamese?

Hey... Not getting one, just wondering.
I've always wanted one, and will get one... One day...
But, I love the seal point and blue points... And lately i like the cinnamon point, but havent seen much of them...

Anyways, I'm wondering, how much does it cost to get one? Just the cat, not all the vaccinations and such, but just a male... or a female? is there a difference? It would be a house cat, so spaded and such, so i wouldnt care for lines of show cats or anything.

Just wondering. Thanks

Oh, and has anyone here got a siamese?

Re: How much does it costs for a siamese?

May i ask why you would ask the price of a cat/kitten WITHOUT the vaccinations etc??...When you buy a kitten from a reputable breeder (and you should) then the kitten will be about 14 weeks old and fully vaccinaed, wormed, vet checked, insured and most importantly fully socialised. good luck.....Chris

Hi. I breed Siamese
As Raggs says a reputable breeder will not sell a kitten without vaccinations etc. There's no difference in cost between males and females (unless they are on the active breeding register) I would not advise you to look for one on the cheap (un-registered, un-vaccinated) as you could end up with a lot of problems as these kittens are generally sold too young
On average registered Siamese kittens sell for between £300 - £400 - but beware because you can end up paying that sort of money for an unregistered one from a back yard breeder.
Have you looked at rescues? There are, sadly, often pedigree Siamese in need of re-homing. U.K.Siamese cat Rescue, rehoming and welfare, neuter, lost, found Worth looking here

Re: How much does it costs for a siamese?

It's gonna sound daft, but I didn't think breeders did all that, I thought that was up to you? I just thought I'd pick it up for its first vaccination, then its second and stuff, but i would have to pay for it all, and since i already know the prices, i just thought of the cat.

Thanks for letting me know though!

Really want one!

Re: How much does it costs for a siamese?

Back yard unregistered breeders don't vaccinate. But then they tend to do a lot that's not right. A proper siamese kitten form a proper registered breeder with come ready vaccinated etc. Otherwise they are breaking GCCF rules
