Wobsi(Mr Wobs)

we've had wobsi just over 2 wks now,he's a 15month old ragdoll,he seems to be settling in well and follows us all over, cant even go to the loo without him tagging along, he has even started to come for cuddle time on my knee i'm just a little concerned as to what to do when my daughter and partner visit with my 7yr old grand daughter,he growls and hisses at them sometimes, they have two cats and i wonder if its because he can smell their cats on them or if its just because he hasnt got used to them yet,the people we got him from had 2 babies and a dog and said their niece was about our grand daughters age and he was used to them having company.i do a stern voice and tell him no when he does this but i'm not quite sure what to do to help the situation

Re: Wobsi(Mr Wobs)

I would ask your family to ignore your cat when they arrive until he is comfortable with the situation, especially your grandaughter, who probable thinks all cats are the same and she can do what she can do with her own cats and dog. In time your cat will accept the situation but everything is new to him and is still adjusting to his new surroundings. Good luck

Shadow will still run out of the way when someone he doesn`t know come into the house. I have had him over 9 months now. Mind you some cats are just so laid back and are not bothered. You just cant tell until someone visits.
