I am in love....

So I have been looking on Woodgreen and the CP website and i've come across this lovely chap Cats Protection - Ely & District and I am completely smitten with him

The OH is happy for us to have another furby but I really don't think Oscar would be impressed

Re: I am in love....

I'd really love to look into getting him, the only reservation I have is that Oscar has been the sole cat for all his life and I really don't think he would be happy.

He's bad enough when my OH is home (he works away all week)

Re: I am in love....

Does Oscar get really cranky when your OH is home? Maybe another cat will bring him out of his shell. Has he ever been around another cat?

Re: I am in love....

He sits in between us or sits on the floor sulking he doesn't growl or misbehave and he lets the OH fuss him.

He was one of three cats originally. The short version is, my ex was a physcho, not sure why he wanted cats as he didn't treat them particulary well....or me for that matter. When I left him to move back home with my parents, Mum would only let me bring one of them Oscar was the youngest and the other two had been together for a number of years. I found a really good home for the other two. I took Oscar with me, so he was only with the other cats for about a year, if that. He's now 18

I'd love to think it may give him a new lease of life but at the same time I don't want to stress him or another cat out (especially if they have been in a shelter).
