drugs for burmese cats?

My nine year old burmese who recently moved in with me is not interested in catnip, valerian or honeysuckle.

He ate some catnip but that's all. I did read on the net that burmese don't have the gene to respond to catnip so tried toys with the other plants in but he wasn't interested in those either.

Do Burmese cats not do drugs?

Re: drugs for burmese cats?

Every cat is different but I haven't noticed it is breed specific. I have Burmese that love catnip and others that just walk off.

Marcia.

My Siamese kitten doesn't seem bothered about catnip but my moggy loves it. I doubt that its a breed thing though.
