Best clumping cat litter for odour control?
Hi guys, cats are getting neutered at end of month but till then they are stinking the utility room out! What clumping cat litter is best for odour control?

Took me long enough to take the plunge,but Meeko has been using Cats Best Oko Plus for the past 2 weeks and I have to say Im very impressed.No smell,no wasted litter ,but it does track a bit.

I was the same, I'd been against using clumping litter after using the old style clay ones a few years ago.

A couple of months ago I tried Cats Best and I have to say I am 100% converted. Looking back now I can't believe how much time and effort it used to take to keep things clean and sanitary.

Oko plus is fab, wouldn't use any other litter

i use oko plus its brilliant doesnt smell at all, but does track alot.

I was using BioCatolet but the trailing was doing our head in. Have now changed to Cats Best Oko Plus and it is fab. It says a small bag will last 10 weeks and I was reluctant to buy due to the price, but I think they might be right. Great stuff

Another Oko convert here, don't be put off by the price, it lasts sooooo much longer than anything I've tried and no smells at all.

Does Oko completely eliminate the smells? At the minute I'm using catsan which I thought was supposed to eliminate the smells but when they've first done a poo you sure do know about it!

I've got some Oko on order from zooplus (after a gazillion recommendations on here!) so I guess I'll find out soon enough.

I don't think anything will eliminate smells IMMEDIATELY after they have done one - it would have to enfold the poop as it actually came out of their bum, leaping into the air out of the tray to do so. SO yes in those first few seconds it does smell - but once settled and especially buried then no smell.
