I've cleaned it with lemon juice and vinegar. It's not always the same place though as he decided to go in the bathroom the other day too.
raggie doll likes this.

yeah one of my kittens decided that the bath was a good place to go! lol! The vets never seem to have much advice in this though, a cat behaviourist would probably be more help

I need to rule out a UTI before I go any further. If it is scent marking I can only hope it stops when he becomes infertile.

Re: At my wits end

Have you tried looking on Vicky Halls' website - Cat Behaviour Counsellor, Cat Behaviour Books and Tips for Cat Owners - Vicky Halls - there might be something of use on it.

You can drop her an e-mail as well, I did this once not expecting it to be answered by her, may just a PA, but she did get back to me!

Thank you, will look at the site and possibly email her if need further help

No more accidents today but have noticed tonight he seems to be meowing before going in the tray sometimes? He did it earlier and when I went through he was in the tray having a poo but he also did it just now before I came to bed and I went through and he was under the cupboard. I thought he was peeing but he wasn't and he came out when I bent down to see what he was up to. Put him in the tray and he had a pee.

He definitely knows how to confuse me
