do you know the breed of the mother??
He looks like he could have mix of the bengal/wild cats like the ossi australian cat they look like tigers

That's what I thought Lynn - ears not big enough and face the wrong shape but a hint of something there - that and the fact he is pointed by the look of it.

It's funny we went to the beach today near Christchurch and saw all sort s of mixed parentage dogs and spent ages working them out - it does seem weird not to do the same with cats but it's normally very hard but this one seems a little easier - but still a moggy.

Could have waved across - I was at Milford-on-Sea cliff top (can't call it the beach, Highcliffe and Barton have got all of our sand )

i think he is little too young to tell what breed he is, if any. what i cant understand is you said 'his previous owner' so who has him and his mum now?
he looks like he should be in the lion king
