Oscar's test results - at last
So after all the kerfuffle last week of the vet leaving Oscar's urine sample in their post box all weekend I popped down there this morning with a fresh one.

Just had a call to say that he doesn't have a UTI, but there is a miniscule amount of white blood cells. The vet said there wasn't enough to warrant giving him any medication, it could be indicative of some bladder irritation or....stress

So I now have to keep a record of any "accidents" that Oscar might have - so far he's not had reoccurance for nearly 2 weeks and just monitor the situation. She has recommended trying a Feliway plug just in case something is causing him stress when me and the OH are not about.

As you can see he's really interested in his results

That's very good news, what a sweetie!

Feliway seems to work brilliantly in this house, having recently introduced a kitten to a nine year old with absolutely no issues at all. Of course I don't know what they'd have been like without it but I'm convinced!

Thanks all.

I've just ordered a Feliway plug, think I got quite a good deal on Pet Supermarket, £19.99 with free P&P.

I'm sure that when some of us get to his age in human years we may be prone to the odd "accident", hell I've come close a few times at the age I am now

I think you need to get at least 2 more Feliways hun because that sure is one stressed-out kitty................... NOT!!!!!!!

Great to hear that, after all the hassle, things appear to be ok.

And, like ALL Oscars, he is one very gorgeous boy!!!!
