Uggers loves this!! and even Chewy is known to have a little go with it every now and then..... it scared the bejesus out of me one morning tho as it was hanging from the lampshade in the hallway god knows how Uggs had managed to get it up there!! but as I walked into it I almost screamed my head off

The best reaction I have ever seen with a cat toy is the ancol acticat plastic playground. I got it from amazon and although it looks cheap and cheery, the kitten absolutely loves it. There is a ball that can be pushed around a little circuit and a pompom on a spring. It is hot pink and yellow though - hardly subtle!

My boys love the 'door duck' as it's called at home. They only get to play with it rarely however, as the OH hates it flicking at him

Re: Cat toy that goes over door frame?

Thank you everyone! I think I might add it to the Christmas present list for our two when I do my next order with ZooPlus. Will try to resist buying more toys in the meantime... Sounds like it is popular with a lot of your cats so hopefully ours will love it too!

Much appreciated!

Re: Cat toy that goes over door frame?

I bought one last week after seeing it talked about on here, (the one I got has a mouse rather than a duck though) - and the kittens played with it for an hour solid after it went up. It's been played with regularly - this morning Odin kept trying to bring the mouse to hubby & I - he'd jump on the couch with it - only to have it come loose and go flying through the doorway and bounce around some more, so he'd have to go chase it and try again...was funny to watch. Definitely a favourite.
