Fur clippers - recommendations?

Does anyone have any recommendations for clippers? The kind for fur, not claws! Our two really need a trim around the bum area as they are VERY fluffy down there, and always end up getting wee, litter and poo stuck to them. Their poos are solid but always manage to get stuck around their fluffy "trousers" and bum fur.

I've tried trimming with scissors with varying degrees of success, so would appreciate any recommendations for clippers, or tips for trimming with scissors. Neither kitten enjoys it one bit!

I'd try pets at home.

Tsk Tsk, didn't anyone tell you that you're supposed to go to the loo with them and hold their trousers back?

Honestly! New kitty owner

Not sure if they will work on kitties but I've been told these ones are pretty good for doggy faces ... Wahl Pocket Pro Mini Clipper RED -Trim Whiskers/Hair | eBay

Re: Fur clippers - recommendations?

Arnold has very fluffy pants too and has this problem. To be honest though when it comes to clippers I've chosen to leave it to the professionals because he's such a pain in the bum and they handle him a lot better than I could.

I would take them to a groomer at least the first time so you can see how to do it and ask them about some clippers. It also means that Arnold is grumpy with the groomer and not me for once!
