Re: Who's cat will catch big scary spiders for you?

All the cats I've had. They couldn't have cared one bit about spiders. They were happy to share the house with them, as I was.

Had pretty large spiders walk across the living room floor on occasion, and the cat(s) didn't even bat an eyelid. Looked at the spiders for 1 second and the look from them was "and what do you want me to do about it?"

Yeah there is usually a lot of jumping and screaming involved too, I'm sorry to all you spider lovers out there but with much bravery I managed to suck it up with the hoover. Now I know I'm just being paranoid but I know have one eye on the hoover just incase it crawls back out of it.

By the way just so you all know I am auditioning your cats for the next big spider scare when I shall be doing a temporary swap for that special cat that not only likes spider catching but also gives a c**p that I really don't!
MCWillow and raggie doll like this.

Benji and Storm are pretty good at catching spiders for me. Benji is deinfitely the best though, as he is more interested in nomming them than Storm

OMG just watching that spider made my skin crawl, I certainly wouldn't have been anywhere near it with a camera

Molly has only recently started noticing spiders and daddy long legs!! I'm not sure what fascinates her more, them, or me jumping round like some crazy woman She has tried to eat them, but the thought of that makes me even worse!

Re: Who's cat will catch big scary spiders for you?

A few of mine love the big wolf spiders, I found one the other day with just one leg left, dragging itself round in a circle and covered in drool - eeeeeeew!!!
I also found a half yaked up butterfly, a bit of moth and some soggy flies!!!!
I even did a cartoon of one of my lot as it is such a regular occurrence - darn things don't even bother with the rats!!

Re: Who's cat will catch big scary spiders for you?

I'm just going to let Benji do the hunting around here, if he wants them he can have them

Franklin the MC used to have this habit of eating every single spider he came across, even ones that were bigger than the one in Aurelia's video. No kidding, some of the bastards he caught were HUGE!!!! You would frequently pick him up for a kiss and he'd have a leg still sticking out of the corner of his mouth
