I was thinking today that apart from the obvious: breed, size, coat-length etc my two boys are completely opposite in almost every way possible, so I thought I'd share my observations

Mika (Russian Blue) Rosso (Maine Coon)
Feeding: likes to eat little and often, dainty little portions that he likes to take his time over, always leaves some in his bowl (well, it's good manners innit?)
Feeding: food obsessed! eats everything that's put him front of him in 10 seconds flat before going off to look for more… (tries to convince everyone I'm starving him)
Toilet Habits: small dainty little rabbit-sized droppings always well buried and carefully wipes his feet on the litter mat on his way out
Toilet Habits: HUGE!!! stinky poos left uncovered for everyone to see whilst scattering litter to all 4 corners of the room
Demeanor: quiet, elegant, agile, poised, light on his feet, reminds me of a gymnast on a balance beam
Demeanor: loud, clumsy oaf always charging around like a maniac knocking everything flying as he goes
Personality: gentle, reserved and a little shy and self conscious, likes affection on his terms only, when he comes to me for a cuddle I always feel very privileged and special
Personality: outgoing, confident, demands attention 'in ya face' cuddle me, rub my belly, tickle my chin…more, more MORE!

The only thing they have in common is their Mummy who loves them both very much..

Great verbal pictures there Our 5 have all got such different personalities as well but I love them all equally too

Are you sure Rosso isn't related to Jaffe?! Well all except for wanting cuddles Jaffe just demands that I constantly have to watch him "look at me mummy, mummy...mummy...mummy look at me...look at me...look...look...look mummy....YOUR NOT LOOKING MUMMY!" crash bang wollop crash lands on the coffee table scattering everything!!! Do your 2 get on with each other though?

My cats are so different but get along so well my three kittens from different litters just love snuggling with each other

I have 5 one is the grumpier cat but deep down he's a softy lol!
the other 4 are soooooo loving sometimes you just can't leave the house :thumb up:

Heheheheh! I've got to of the second type...
On one hand I love cats that are graceful and reserved as they are special in their own right, but heck don't I love my boys for being such looneys, they are always making me smile!

I'm so happy they get on and it seems like it was fate that got you the perfect MC baby to join Mika!

I know what you mean, normally i'm not a believer in fate but i have been so lucky with by babies and don't doubt that fate has handed me a great bunch of furies
