After 3 hours of sleep my OH came to say good bye before he went to work and let Jaffe into the bedroom. As I snuggled down to get a couple more hours sleep Jaffe wafted past me. At first I thought he had just come out his litter tray as he smelt a bit wiffy but as he got closer I got that god awful smell of cat poo up my nose. So I got up and open the curtains to not only find that my OH had failed to notice that Jaffe had sticky poo all over his bum but that Jaffe had proceeded to sit his bum down all over the bed leaving pooey bum prints all over it! eek:. So I grabbed him under my arm and marched him into the bathroom! After spending 30 minutes of just trying to get the sticky mess off I gave up and got the shampoo out and washed his lower half as that was all I could manage without being shredded to pieces. 30 more minutes and I now have a very grumpy Jaffe and the smell of sticky poo and wet cat stuck up my nose! Delightful! Now to go and endure 2 hours in a stuffy hospital to make it truly the start of the weekend

Oh you poor thing! That sounds disgusting and not a very nice start to the day! Don't you just love it when they get covered in sticky poo? Monty did yesterday and my OH was proper gagging as we tried to get it off. I did actually consider bathing him but feared too much for my life. It really is horrible when they get all icky!

Looks like it was fun, wish I could've gone but I already went to two conventions this year so my wallet is a little tight.

I don't blame your OH sticky poo is gross! I washed his bum with a really wet towel soaped up with shampoo, did that a couple of times then dunked his bum in the sink to rinse. I was fearing for my life too but managed to get away with a few scratches. The last time he had sticky poo on his bum it was at 2am! My OH just stood by and moaned about it making a mess out of the towels while I was being torn to sheds!:roll eyes: It was like "no, no it's fine my arms are in ribbons and I'm trying to wash a cat and balance on a crutch at the same time so by all means moan about the towel getting poo on it! I'm sure your whining is really helping the cat stay calm!"

Thanks sweets it's just pain management group today so will mainly be dull and condescending in a stuffy room No it really wasn't a good start to the day I think I deserve breakfast in bed tomorrow morning after that ordeal!
