Re: Cats & Water

Awwwkt

Kira doesn't like being in water, shes fell in the bath a couple of times and everytime she freaks out. But, her fav place to be in the house is the bath (no water in it). She used to sit on the side of the bath while I was in the bath and paw the water/bubbles into my face, onto my book, all fun and games untill she fell in haha but it's annoying, I'm forever cleaning the bath tryna keep it fur free.
She loves the toilet too everytime you flush the toilet she runs up and peers into the bowl untill its finnished flushing... it's a good way to get her out the living room when we go to let the rats out, shout her name and flush the toilet and she comes running haha.

Roscoe didn't have an option there,

the shower curtain was aleady pull out as my partner had just been in the shower, so i switched the shower back on, then roscoe jumps out of the bath, wet

i've also seen him ina about the bubbles left on the bottm of the bath after a shower/bath, he couldn't get out of the bath as his paws were slippery

Re: Cats & Water

Jet doesnt like it, except he has a bad habit of putting his tail in the dirty sink water. Lilly loves it, she nudges the taps where the water comes out of and makes a small noise as if shes back on her mum getting milk, its so funny to watch

Re: Cats & Water

When Bloo was little we were draining a bath and pawed the water and then slowly slid in. He was enjoying walking around in the warm water and then his brother, Freckle, who was watching accidentally fell in. This caused a panic and both cats got out of the bath ASAP and then we had to chase them around the flat with towels...

Since then Bloo loves to hang over the edge and pat the water and bubbles, we even have some plastic bath toys for him to bat about. He also likes pawing at the water in the toilet before he uses it Toys are chucked in the water fountain and then bashed about, taken out once soaking and dropped on me. He doesn't mind being out in the rain either. Freckle is not so keen on water...

Re: Cats & Water

Uggs loves water, he flicks the water from the bowl all over the kitchen floor, he jumps in the bath whilst it is still wet and is mesmerised with running water from the bathroom tap (he is not allowed on kitchen sides so cant get to kitchen sink.)

Chewitts however hates water!! She has fallen in the bath a few times when a kitten and has also often had to be washed as she gets covered in anti climb paint that needs washing off before she ingests too much of it!!

Re: Cats & Water

Frankie doesn't like water, playing with it or drinking it, but he's quite happy to sit out in the rain
