I have found the best game ever, both my adult cat and kitten love it...

I've rolled foil up in a ball and baking paper in another ball... throw one ball up the stairs with cat/kitten at the bottom and you watch them fly they knock it down and then throw the other ball up the stairs and bingo up they go again................ whilst I sit at the bottom!

I have not tried this game on carpet stairs yet, but it works a treat on wooden stairs!

cheap toys, very little effort from me and they love it, infact my two have been at it for 35 mins now!!! so good exercise to

Sadly I don't have stairs... wonder if this would work on the flat too... although not as effective exercise wise obviously.

I have never bought 'toys' for my furballs. All of the things that they play with are either hand made or things they have found for themselves in the garden. When Candy (my oldest cat) was about a year old, she tried climbing in through the window with a 3ft length of bamboo in her mouth. She continued to try for about half an hour before finally abanding the bamboo. I never did find out what she wanted the bamboo for.
