Are your cats affected by the heatwave?

The kittens have spent nearly all day just sleeping. I'm sure its the heat that's making them so dozy. Normally they have mad 1/2 hours periodically throughout the day but today they are just to hot.

I haven't seen much of Fluffy either. She came in for breakfast and in for something else to eat at 6pm and disappeared through the cat flap to get some cool air.

Jaffe had a little play first thing this morning and another little play a couple of minutes ago but the rest of the day he has been snoozing too. We are lucky in the fact that our flat doesn't get too hot but with all that fur he must be on the toasty side of things.

Re: Are your cats affected by the heatwave?

Mine have been sleepy all day and not fussed about eating, but given that they went crazy at 2 am this morning as it was cool I think they will be the same tonight

Mine are now running round the house with my daughers feather boa. Just now they grabbed one end each and had a mini tug of war!

I was at work today - I am assuming Willow was sleeping as OH was on nights so also sleeping - her mad half hour is still ongoing an hour later!
