Re: I cant take no more

I literally shuddered looking at the picture. (Did I mention that I don't like spiders?)

That one is the same size as the one Osscar killed the other night. I have gone in our shed in 4 years because I went in there once and saw a spider, like that one, about as big as my palm. I make DH fetch everything out of there now lol.

The reason I have the fear and it's one of those early memories that stay with you is, I was about 2 or 3 and my Mum had just bathed me and my brother and we were running round naked trying no to let my mum dry us off but he ended up pulling lots of stuff out of the airing cupboard and I found my mums big wooly winter hat which I stuck on my head and ran round until my brother caught me and tugged it off my head, well the atmosphere suddenly changed from all giggles and squeals and it just went silent and my mum and brother just looked at my head in horror, and on my head was apparently the hugest spider ever, which after a moment or two my mum knocked off and threw down the toilet, but ever since that moment I have had the fear

Re: I cant take no more

oh bugger just looked at that pic and screamed, now everyone in the vicinity thinks im madder than usual

My little bro used to throw them at me when we were kids, think thats where my fear comes from. Needless to say i used to pummel him to get my own back, once i had stopped squealing!
