Re: Seeking Cat- advice needed

If you find that the CPL do not have a cat that you feel is right, please do a Google search for other smaller rescues in your area. Most rescues are at bursting point right now with cats & kittens so there is bound to be a cat out there for you.

Avg donation fee is £60-70 as this covers the costs of vacs, worming, de-fleaing and, in older cats, neutering.

If you fancy a slightly posher cat then this rescue is in the Notts area and might be able to help. Pauline there is lovely and would be very happy to help you out.

HOME - Thorneywood Cat Rescue

I hope this is helpful to you.

Ummmmmmmm because he's a bit older than we required for Abby, he can't eat wet food which would be really difficult to manage with 3 cats who do and...... he's beeen re-homed!!!!!

Anyway, I only ever wanted Razzle and Pauline wasn't handing over the goods there so I boycotted her!!!!!

(I didn't really, honest!!!! Patsy @ RPR just happened to have what we wanted, at the right time, and we had rescued from her before so it made sense to go back to her.)

Now at my vets they charge the following:

Vaccinations £50 in total for start up
Neutering male £35
Spaying female £50
Microchipping £18
Worming and flea treatment - not sure

but look at how much money you save by adopting one who has had these already done. Often if they are too young to have been neutered you will get a voucher for when they are old enough so you don't pay that either.

RSPCA are the same
We had ours from cp and our donation was only £45.

OMG thorneywood cat rescue - Rhia she looks so much like my old suki. Absolutely gorgeous x
