so she bought this kitten from another breeder and is now selling her to you??
Does the original breeder know and has she agreed to this? It all sounds a bit dubious to me I'm afraid. I would be horrified if someone tried to do this with one of my kittens
Makes me wonder if there's a problem, why else would she want to sell this kitten on? Have you been to see the kitten?

She should still have the original pink slip that was given to her when she bought the kitten if it was bought as a registered kit. If she has that it will have registration number on and all the details. She then needs to complete the blue transfer slip to pass over the kit to you. I have a supply of the blue forms if you want one posting out. I would certainly not buy the kit without seeing her original pink slip and her also her completing and signing the blue slip.

I totally agree. Best to wait and make sure you are getting a correctly registered kitten and not one that's being sold on, possibly without the original breeder's knowledge. Careful with this one sweetheart, it'd be awful if you ended up with a kitten you couldn't breed from, especially since you had trouble with getting your other girl x

this is happening frequently lately - i know of a breeder who sold a girl on active to someone she thought she could trust and then found out last week the poor thing was porned off to a bad breeder - she's highly upset!! especially seeing as she doesn't sell for breeding often xx it's enough to put anyone off i think x
if the kitten is her daughters then did they buy her for pet? if so not registered on active i'm sure xx

i'm sure the right girl will come along hunny xx aren't there bsh breeders on here?? xx

Just caught up - I have to agree with the others, unless you can see the pink slip and check that the kitten is not on the non-active register, I'd leave well alone.

ok shes just text me this...i said what other papers does she come with and she said "all her papers, she has her pedigree, vaccs card and a signed form saying that she is active gccf, and papers are due in post as they have taken payment...She also said she will post the waiting paper.(the one in her name) by special delivery and also sign a receipt to say..
