Re: Mad half hour

Shadow likes to go out, so when he comes in at 5pm for his food, I dont let him out again and he is so shattered he sleeps for most of the evening

Re: Mad half hour

Mine have their mad half hour when I get back from work. They usually go out to the orchard with me and rusha round the lawn and up and down the apple trees. If it is winter they don't like to go out and they fling themselves around the floor, showing off, and spook at each other. We call it cats-go-mad-time, and it is definitely a feline phenomenon, because all the cats I've ever had even growing up have done it!

They also like to show off when we are watching telly by going in the highest places they can, and usually places that cause us to panic (much more exciting!) like on the mixing desk or on the priter shelf...

Re: Mad half hour

Ah yes - this is the time we've come to call "Kittens on Krack" - they do it a few times a day - usually after a nap (I swear they nap just to ensure they have extra energy for this).

Thankfully things have gotten better since we got Odin, although we now have 2 kittens doing it - they can entertain each other during this time.
