is this possible?

When my cat was on heat she had intercourse with a 6 month old kitten, and ever since she has been acting overly affectionate but i thought cats didnt give off pregnancy sign till they were 3 weeks due? and ebony (my cat) would only be about a week and a half she has been constantly needy but i go away for college during the week and hse is left with my mum so can it be that she just misses me?

Re: is this possible?

Why was your cat allowed to have sex with a six month old kitten? And why is she not spayed?

Re: is this possible?

It is certainly possible that she is pregnant. May I ask why she has not been spayed yet?

Re: is this possible?

As other posters have already said....she might be pregnant or if not it sounds as if she is in heat, in which case she will soon be pregnant!
Either way she needs to get to the vet without delay and to get spayed, you really don't want the hassle of a bunch of kittens and she is far too young to be a good mum....in fact she might not even survive the birth.
The boy should be 'done' now too as he is obviously sexually mature and if left un-neutered he will start to roam far away and you may lose him completely.

A cat should still be spayed even if it is an indoor cat as, you have now learned, these accidents can happen.

Shame on your neighbour for a) letting a kitten out so young and b) letting it out when it has not been neutered.

Re: is this possible?

hello i think you should take her to the vets and get her done as she is only 1 she is a bit to young to be having kittens if money is an issue then you can get help from cat protection with money off so you will not be paying full wack
i do ask you to take this into consideration as there is alread to many kittens out there with out homes and adding more that you do nor know what there future will hold is sad.

hope this helps and please do the right thing
